My dad and grandmother originally bought this for me thanks to my FSX problems with Acceleration on the eMachines which was running Windows XP. It ran Vista and 7 before the original 320GB hard drive failed. It was also the computer that I started my YouTube videos with which I use it to record Flight Simulator X missions and flights I had created, how-to videos, gameplay videos as well. Back in December 2012 when this thing took a crap and failed to reinstall Vista. Few months later I got the computer in parts since my dad part it out. I attempt to rebuild it back but something has gone into a conflict with the motherboard few months later. In June I bought the hard drive which was a 500GB Western Digital Blue which is way better than it had before, also the machine didn't function after that. In July I had bought a motherboard for it but I realized that I had bought the wrong board so I sent it back. Then on August I bought a new board and CPU on which is the same thing that it had before. After I had rebuilt this thing had Windows 7, 8, & 8.1. This thing ran and managed a Minecraft server with 2GB of RAM on a WiFi network. I also wanted to make it as a file server but I failed at that so I only use this machines basically for emulation today. Until somewhere end of Winter in 2015 it began to run so slow that I had a feeling of upgrading the RAM which I did few months later and if it is still my main machine that I could have done that at that time anyway.
I had upgraded the RAM in June to have 4GB, originally 8GB but since it bluescreened on me that I had decided to takeout the other 4GB stick. At that time I even decided to put in the old 2GB set back and didn't since this thing does have Windows 8.1 Pro (64-bit) on that 500GB hard drive and it does seem to run well without it bluescreening which is the good thing.
