On November 25th, 2011 my family and I went to Walmart for the Black Friday sale which was going on there that night. We were in line for these computers so we waited about 30 minutes as we got there 11:30 in the night. All of us including me got it as it was supposed to be one per customer. I was so excited that night when I came home with mine so I had made a video of me unboxing it. This may be my second unboxing video from my iPad 2 on my old channel but me just opening up the box, ripping off the plastic, and setting up this thing is awesome.
It was my first laptop ever and why I still have it today because it has sentimental value on me. I did made a lot of test videos of what games this laptop can play such as Minecraft, The Sims 3, etc. I also learned the new way on how to render videos through the new Live Movie Maker because on my Compaq came with Movie Maker which is older than this and I learned Windows 7 was a good operating system on how good it is compared to Vista on my Compaq by the time I bought it. The webcam is really not good and the laptop tends to be slow at times due to the E2 processor. I kind of wish HP would put a better processor on this as this E2 is really meant for netbooks. Later on I had downgraded the hard drive to 250GB when I first got my Dell Latitude E6420 from eBay since I don't use it while I have that. It ran Windows 7, 8.1, & 10 Technical Preview. I put back the 500GB since I don't need it in my E6420 due to I upgraded to a SSD. Also I learned that the CPU is soldered into the board when I was trying to replace it with an A4 which is a 1.4GHz quad-core. Now I mostly keep this machine mostly as a side machine.
