The coolers that I had deciding to buy is either the Corsair H100i which is a water cooler or the Noctua NH-D14 or the new NH-D15. I like the Corsair H100i better because it will fit my build better but I was worried about the water leaking into my system, hopefully that doesn't happen because that's only if you do something wrong like unplug or cut the pipes on which it could be a dumb thing to do. Plus the thing I really like about these water loops is they already have stuff in it unlike those expensive water loops with pipes going around your system plus a reservoir that you'll have to watch over it.
The air cooling idea is pretty neat since the Noctua NH-D14/D15 has 6-8 heat pipes that will help cooling down the CPU but I think I could get a bit less of overclock if I go to that route. Another thing that if I'm going to upgrade the RAM in the future then I will I have to take off the heatsink and put it back on again. The new NH-D15 from Noctua solved problems with RAM that couldn't go under the heatsink with the NH-D14. The RAM that I'm planning on putting on the build will be short enough for both of those coolers. They are a bit cheaper than the H100i that I'm considering going now
The the H100i route that I'm thinking of going with that route is the good thing because I can get better overclock speeds that I can achieve with than I would with those Noctua air coolers. What do you think that I should go with, either go with air cooling with a Noctua NH-D14/D15 cooler or water cooling with a Corsair H100i.
